All Sorts of New Tricks!

Ava has been doing all sorts of new things over the last couple of weeks, blowing kisses, actually crawling, letting go and thinking about taking some steps, tackling the stairs (here come the baby gates), taking baths in the big tub with her sisters, and making sounds that make us think she is talking to us! Anna and McKenna promise they have heard her say 'Yeah' in response to a question, 'Ava' and 'bye'. Patrick and I aren't convinced, but she does seem to understand exactly what we are saying - proven by the devilish grin when I tell her 'No!'.

We had an ice day today, so no school for Anna or McKenna and the nanny couldn't drive in this, so I put in about half a day at work from home and have been playing the rest of the day. It hit me last week that I should really start planning Ava's 1st birthday! We are just going to have family - the more kids you have the less the celebrations until they know what is going on :)
Anna and McKenna start soccer in a few weeks, and I will be McKenna's coach all with Abbie's mom, Kelly. This should be a fun and interesting endeavor - believe me, there will be pics as soon as I can! Kindergarden is going well for Anna and she loves to show us her work everyday. McKenna got to dig for fossils this week, and is now obsessed with dinosaurs. And of course, here are the most recent pics!
