I left town for business to Long Beach on Monday morning and Maggie, Tommy and Uncle Rich came to town on Tuesday and Uncle Mike came to town on Wednesday. Patrick had a somewhat reduced role as Mr. Mom as my mom took Anna and McKenna for 1 night and his parents took them for 2 nights so they could hang out with Maggie and Tommy.
Even though I was in CA for work, I managed to meet Nicole for dinner one night and had a great time just hanging out without the kids or boys to interfere :)
Patrick and the girls spent a lot of time at his parents swimming and eating, but he doesn't believe in taking pictures, so I will have to rely on Maggie and Tommy's facebook pages to see photos from those days!
We celebrated Uncle Brian's 30th birthday on Friday and as always, the girls helped blow out the candles.

We all met at the lake on Saturday and spent several days riding the wave runners, the knee board, the Thriller (which I didn't get photos of, but Anna and McKenna loved!) And on Saturday afternoon, Anna had the biggest thrill -- She lost her 1st tooth! :) She was so excited and she was asking everyone if they wanted to take a picture of it, which we did, so everyone there has several pictures of Anna's lost tooth. She brought her tooth fairy pillow with her (as she has done since she got it for her birthday) and was so happy to use it. The tooth fairy was able to find her at the lake and she was rewarded with $5 for her first tooth. Somehow Grandma and Grandpa managed to give her $5 as well, so she made out like a bandit. She took it well that she only got $1 for the next tooth, which she lost on Wednesday! No more loose teeth at this time, but she keeps wiggling them to make sure.
McKenna was enjoying hanging out on the boat and I couldn't resist this shot of my beautiful girl.
Maggie, Anna and McKenna hanging out and drawing pictures for Tommy, who was on the water the majority of the weekend - the girls took a few breaks.
Ava has learned the art of the cheesy smile and if she sees the light from the camera, this is the face we get. Look at those pearly whites :)
Grandpa and McKenna resting after a long day on the lake.
Tommy was showing Anna and McKenna how to fish and he caught a monster! Well, it was bigger than the minnow, but you have to look pretty hard to see it in this picture. The girls still thought it was pretty impressive and even touched it. We threw him back and called it a morning.
Maggie was a great cousin and let Anna and McKenna sleep in a room with her at the lake. They brought their sleeping bags and several babies and actually didn't wake Maggie up every morning.
Tommy getting up on the knee board. He mastered this very quickly and was begging Patrick and Rich to take him out again.
For the last night before the cousins went back home, we were back over at Grandma and Grandpa's house for more swimming and family fun. Maggie taught Anna and McKenna how to dive, and she did a great job. Anna had several belly flops, but she is getting the hang of it.
